Family is the best team you could ever have

Growing up my family life wasn’t always the best. I have one biological sister and no matter what we have been there for each other. I was put in foster care and adopted at age 17 and gained two more younger siblings. Several times I have been asked why did you get adopted at 17…you’re basically an adult?! My response no matter how old you are you’ll always need a family. No matter what you’re going through your family will always have your back. I’ve been trying to teach my 17-year old sister and my 13-year old brother

Braxton said what?! Yep, that’s right the full blown momma’s boy said DADA DADA DADA first! At first I was a little jealous about this… and then I was talking to my mom one day and she said honey that’s okay because for the rest of your life you will hear mama mama mama while dad is clearly sitting there not busy the kiddos will still come to mom for everything. This made me laugh because our Miniature Schnauzer (Browser) even does this! My husband, Blake will be sitting right beside me and as soon as I get up Browser will run to the door to go potty. As moms we are the primary caregivers of these munchkins and even the pets realize it!

Currently we are working on saying mama!
