They’re only little once… the time goes by so fast if you blink they will be grown. Blake and I were talking the other night and I told him I barely remember the first 2 months of Braxton’s life. I felt like we brought him home from the hospital and then BOOM he’s crawling! The first few months was spent adjusting to this new life. A life that goes by so fast that all there are left are memories. So mom listen up… capture every single one of those memories. Soak up those snuggles and embrace those sleepless nights. One day looking back you’ll miss these things.

If I’ve heard it once..I’ve heard it a million times!

OMG he looks just like Blake! I’ve never seen a baby look so much like the father! Did you even have anything to do with this child? He’s Blakes mini me! He’s Blakes twin!…Why do babies always look like their fathers?! We go through 40 weeks of pregnancy, morning sickness (in my case all day sickness), migraines, sleeping on a mountain of pillows, being the punching bag for the little ninja inside, hours of labor, and weeks of recovery for them coming out looking like the father! My response to these comments, yep but Brax is cuter!

Brax may look just like Blake and for months I’ve wondered if he even resembles me even a little bit…until one day that child sneezed and I sighed and said YES YES YES he’s mine! If you’ve ever been in the same room as me when a sneeze comes along and got the bejesus scared out of you then you know what I’m talking about.
